The primary function of an employee in this class is to maintain, repair, operate, adjust, and optimize the tertiary treatment systems at the water reclamation facility. Related work as required will include assisting with all treatment operations within the facility and collection system operations as assigned. The position is under the direct supervision of the Chief Operator, although considerable leeway is allowed for independent judgment and initiative. The principal duties of the position are performed in a reclaimed water facility environment.
High school graduate or GED equivalent is required;
Four (4) years of experience in performing skilled maintenance or construction tasks in water or wastewater operations including one-year operating wastewater treatment technologies or other pressure membrane treatment systems;
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Possession of, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, Idaho Wastewater Treatment Operator Class III license.
