Background: In 2007, WateReuse Florida (WRFL) was established by the WateReuse Association (National) as a State Section to promote water recycling among Florida’s water providers more effectively. The WateReuse Association is the nation’s only trade association focused on advocating for policies, funding, and best management practices that facilitate the adoption of water reuse nationally, including in the State of Florida. WateReuse Florida currently advocates for policies to sustainably manage, conserve, and protect the State’s abundant water resources. Its membership is comprised of utilities, consultants, and industries. The mission of WRFL is to inspire and empower Florida communities and businesses to maximize water recycling through WRFL’s advocacy, education, outreach, and prom
