The Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) is seeking a collaborative, technically proficient, and forward-thinking Wastewater Systems Superintendent to lead the operations and maintenance of the District’s potable water distribution, wastewater collection, and recycled water systems. This leadership role oversees a team of 22 staff—including two direct supervisors and senior-level operators—within the Field Operations Division, supporting critical infrastructure that serves approximately 200,000 residents. The Superintendent manages $9 million in enterprise funds and plays a key role in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing assets, and coordinating closely with Engineering teams on capital improvement projects (CIP), Maintenance and Regulatory Compliance teams. Key priorities include optimizing system performance through data-informed decision-making, enhancing preventative maintenance practices such as valve exercising and meter replacement, and advancing succession planning and workforce development. The ideal candidate will possess strong regulatory knowledge, experience with enterprise fund management, and the interpersonal acumen to continue a culture of trust, accountability, and high performance within a dedicated and technically skilled team.
